The Limes Nursing Home is the longest established nursing home in Didsbury and is a medium sized home set within colourful gardens. Didsbury park, with it's bowling green, children's playground and attractive walks, lies directly opposite. Established and first registered in 1987, The Limes has close links with most local health professionals and with many NHS and private hospitals. 

Short stay and long stay reservations are available, and the qualified staff are able to cater for a wide range of incapacity. Each resident's needs are evaluated carefully on or before arrival and a personal Care Plan is agreed with the resident or with the resident's close family. Thereafter, changes to the Care Plan are introduced as and when required, and after due consultation with other healthcare professionals such as the resident's GP or medical consultant.

The Limes is adaptable and non-intrusive. Many residents prefer to retain their own privacy, independent lifestyle, safe in the knowledge that qualified nursing staff are always on hand when required. Other residents require constant nursing support throughout the day.
